The meeting was held at Trinity University of Asia on September 9, 2025, to discuss microcredential research. The meeting’s agenda included a survey on student perceptions and attitudes toward microcredentials, the establishment of a new journal for microcredentialing, and future plans for the Philippine–Japan Microcredentials Network. It was decided at the meeting that Trinity University of Asia will take the lead in a survey on “Student Perceptions and Attitudes Toward Microcredentials” across the Philippines. This network is planned to expand the scope of microcredential research and practice throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
